Pirate Medicine

DJ Doubloon interviews Captain Jack Sparrow about the most common free medicine in the world: the dandelion. 🏴‍☠️🌼

DJ Doubloon adjusts his pirate headphones on the deck of the ship while the wind rattles the sails.

“Ahoy there, Captain,” says DJ Doubloon. “Today we be talking about the greatest treasure that grows on every lawn in the seven seas — the mighty dandelion!”

Across from him, the legendary pirate captain — Jack Sparrow — squints suspiciously at the yellow flower in his hand.

“Savvy?” Jack mutters. “You’re telling me this little weed be treasure?”

DJ Doubloon nods enthusiastically.

“Aye! Not just treasure — medicine that grows everywhere for free.”

Jack twirls the flower.

“Go on then, mate. Convince ol’ Jack.”

DJ Doubloon points to the plant.

“First off — every part of the dandelion is useful.”

Jack grins.

“Remarkable. The world be full of men searching for treasure chests… while stepping over fields of gold.”

He tucks the flower behind his ear.

“Well then, DJ Doubloon — perhaps we should start a new pirate drink.”

DJ Doubloon leans toward the microphone.

“Tonight’s pirate party special, mates:

Dandelion tea… with a splash of rum.

Jack lifts a mug.

“Now that… is a remedy I can believe in.”

“Yo ho ho,” laughs DJ Doubloon,
“and a bottle of rum!” 🏴‍☠️🍹🌼
